Meet Punches and Pleats, two little kitties sitting on the window sill. I tried to be very precise with my pleats on my two layers of punched borders but this was quite challenging. The red ruffle was punched and pleated from red vellum and for the white ruffle, I used text weight paper. To cover up my tape on the red ruffle I added red grosgrain ribbon. I layered a red and lace flower and added a red rhinestone. Some leaves punched from the vellum and some Sticles were added as accents.

What a cute pair of kitties with their appropriate names. They remind me very much of a little china cat I have. The vellum border looks fabulous; of course the white one looks great too.

I love that you did box pleats. The vellum looks wonderful. I had to go back and look again to see if you had to color it to get the red. It's awesome that you had colored vellum.
