I wasn't happy with the card I made for last week's Free for All challenge ("All About the Black") so decided to do another one. This time I used a shimmery black paper for my background.
I had been playing around with daubing Inka Gold on my craft sheet and spritzing with water, than putting my cs down on it. I had a scrap of white cs that was embossed with Swiss Dots so wondered what effect I'd get with that - the raised dots picked up the silver well but between the dots, I was left with a lot of white space. I thought it was an okay look for Christmas ornaments which often reflect light and different colours. I added them to the card with silver twine and used a scrap of the Inka Gold cs for the background for the sentiment.
It's also for the Sparkle Creations Christmas Card Challenge (this week is "anything goes) and for the May theme ("Ornaments") for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge.

Very cool effect! Playing "what if I...?" in the craft room is so much fun, isn't it?
