I have been in the kitchen all morning (lamb curry, oxtail stew, potato and chickpea soup, jelly roll for morning coffee), rice pudding... but since I picked out my inspiration HERE early this morning, I have had time to make a quick card before lunch.
Sponged some white card to take the brightness off it. Stamped and embossed the foliage, Stamped the butterfly on the circle and again on spare card. Coloured both butterflies with pencils, added Stickles.
Edges of circle sponged with Peacock Feathers.
DH: "It's lovely. Does it need a little border round the edge?"
Me: "No"
DH: "But, but, but..."
Me: "No."
Be back later...

Wow, right on the money, Sabrina! That's a wonderful CASE and CAS of your inspiration piece. I'm really impressed with all you've done in the kitchen as well. If I didn't live so far away, I'd say I'll be over for dinner (she smiles) or maybe morning coffee (that jellyroll sounds d-lish!)

AWESOME! It's a perfect and beautiful take on the inspiration, and I agree with You - no border! P.S. Can I please have some of that oxtail stew!? Pretty please!
So pretty, Sabrina! You are spot on with your inspiration and I love how the rhinestone calls attention to the sentiment! Wow, sounds like you are some cook, as well!

OH MY GOD!!!! It would take me 3 weeks to make a fancy salad, and I don't even know what most of what you made is. Even if the queen was coming to tea I would serve take out. Then you squeezed in this wonderful card. I want to be you in my next life... although I am sure I am destined to be a lizard. The butterfly is gorgeous and the matching sponging looks fantastic. I vote no to the border... I love it the way it is.
