Wonderful challenge to-day. I found this flower in my stash the other day but can't for the life of me think of the maker of the textured cardstock I used. I have been bunging out my studio lately and let me tell you.. I have found treasures that I hadn't seen for ages! The die is from spellbinders (an older one) and they are sponged with green, yellow and blue. The background folder is from cuttlebug and the flourishes from Marianne Designs. I tried to keep it as simple as possible but the longer I fooled with it the more embellishments I used so I finally just walked away from the dang thing and took the picture! LOL
Something old ~ flower and all dies, embossing folder
Something new ~ well..reasonably new -greeting

The black bg really makes your incredible die cut flower the "star", Sue. Beautiful flourishes to further accent it and echo the scrolls of your embossing.

What pretty textured paper for your lovely sponged flower, Sue! I always love seeing flourishes, and these look so nice on either side of your creation! Nice work~ (still smiling at your write-up)

Sometimes, you just have to walk away. Earlier, while working on mine, I wanted to run away screaming! Crazy cricut machines that don't always cut right!
Oh well, sorry about the rant! ;)
I think your card is just beautiful. I love the diecut flower- an oldie or not, it is gorgeous!

Sue, this is elegant and stunning with the beautiful die flower. I know what you mean about goodies from the past. It's nice to see you use them to make one beautiful card. Fav'd tfs
