Finally, this is my card for the MMTPT345 challenge. Our cards this week are going to Rheannon Gordon, who is facing the loss of her mom. She loves all things Victorian, and it is hoped that the cards we send to her and her family perhaps bring a bit of happiness.
I downloaded the pre-colored digital image and originally printed her on the text dsp. She kind of faded into the background, so I printed her on white paper, fussy cut, then covered the entire back of the image with glue stick to adhere her over the original image. I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed with clear ep. I die cut the image and frame, and die cut a backing piece for the frame from taupe cs. This piece was stamped with the script stamp using the same ink as the sentiment, but it is not embossed. A second piece was also cut from the taupe cs to form the back of the card. It is lined with a cream die cut that matches the frame on the card front. The focal image was adhered to a matching craft foam die cut before being attached to the card.
As always, thanks for looking!

This is just lovely, Jody. The ruby stain is the perfect ink choice... what a gorgeous color and it feels very Victorian. Your card design is fabulous. I love the image on the script bg with the delicate frame. So beautiful.

Beautiful image, beautifully framed. The script background really adds to the vintage feel, too. I thought it was paper till I went back and read again more carefully. Can't you just imagine a Victorian lady writing with that colour of ink!
