A just for fun card, because my Unity order finally arrived yesterday. I was, for the first time ever, charged taxes for an order that just came in the regular post; the postman who held them to ransom was very apologetic and said in view of the relatively low value of the goods, I was just really unlucky. Oh well - I got them in the recent sale, so I still came out OK.
Stamped the poppies on white card and coloured with pencils. Scored down one edge and tore the other one. Black "stitches" made from tiny strips of black paper, and I added Stickles down the torn edge.
The base underneath was sponged with peeled paint, using the wax paper left from cutting a Spellbinders trellis recently. I also used it to stencil the main panel, only more softly; for the top part I used gesso and sprinkled a little glitter over it before it was set. The wavy lines are the TCW stencil, and then I added a sentiment to finish it off.

Wow- what an artistic delight this card is!! I keep reading over your process, step by step to see how you achieved your wonderful effects! Love how you kept an "aura" of white around to make the poppies stand out - outstanding card! it!!
