Today’s Ways to Use It Challenge is to include something “Lucky” for yourself on your project. For me, green is it! And little green gems & a shamrock are icing on the lucky cake!
On my lucky St. PatÂ’s Day card, I stamped the frame, colored it w/ Copics, die cut it, then used a Copic to edge it w/ yellow. The greeting was done the same way on a smaller label die & popped up a bit on top of the frame. After die cutting al the layers w/ the matting basics dies, I used a bracket border to cut the lower edges.
Somehow I cut my card to the wrong size so I had quite a bit of white space at the bottom. To compensate, I used one of the inset dies from the brackets & added a green strip behind it. I guess that was lucky, too. Love it when it looks like it was in the original plan all along!
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Beautiful card, Julie, and I love when "mistakes" look as if they never happened. I am thinking green really is your lucky color.

I love absolutely everything about this card, but my favorite is that you added yellow - it brightens it up so beautifully! Into my faves it goes, thank you!
