I took advantage of today's colors to make a card for a friend of mine, who is losing her battle with ovarian cancer. We worked together in the late 60's, then lost touch when she moved to Wash. state. Four years ago my daughter was telling me about a lady in her Bible study group that she really liked and she happened to mention her name. I said I used to know someone by that name and it turned out that she was the friend I'd lost touch with. We re-connected and had a fun get together, with my daughter's church group, where me made holiday cards. I hope the card brightens her day. The flower was cut with the Penny Black bashful die from a piece of watercolor wash paper I made. I used distress inks for the BG, stamped the sentiment on vellum cs and added the rhinestones for accent. Thanks for listening to my long story!
