I created this card for Joyce's VSN challenge called Treasured Furry Friends. My card is to honor my lost dog Kali. She was big Black Labrador/Great Dane mix and that made her tall and playful. The one drawback about big dogs is their short lifespan. We had to say goodbye to her last September and she is missed every day. She was black and white and wore a purple collar. I have used a purple mat on my card to represent her collar.
Thanks for looking!

Oh, she sounds like a beautiful dog - but I can imagine she must have been BIG! My sister's husband has always had black labs, and some of them have been pretty big as labs go. What a sweet card to have made in Kali's memory.

Such a sweet card with wonderful design. Once I read the inspiration behind it, I understood why this came out so beautifully

I'm so sorry about your dog! Your card is so sweet. I like the sentiment - they really do leave pawprints on your heart! I love what you did with the layout and design. Thanks for sharing!

Your card is gorgeous! I love that your mat is the color of Kali's collar. Sweetness. I am so sorry for the loss of your Kali. Your photo is so sweet. Your pup on the left looks similar to my sister's, Sadie. Shell had to say good-bye to Sadie last month and it broke my sis's heart.
