It's so good to be home! I had some new purchases to play with that were waiting for me - this collectible House Mouse stamp, and the new line of Color Burst watercolor pigment powders from Ken Oliver. The image is painted with pigments that I mixed with water and with each other. I cut around one side of the focal cherry and popped it up using the One Layer Paper Tole technique.

Dina, I absolutely LOVE this technique, this is GORGEOUS!!! I cannot wait to try your tutorial and see what I can do this with--you have so inspired me! The colors in your stamped image are so vibrant, what a realistic coloring!!! Those paints are fantastic!!! I am completely impressed!!! I receive your blog updates, and am fascinated with the breadth of your artistic ability--WOW!!!
The dimension you create without adding layers is just wonderful. I hope I will be able to do this technique justice, I know I need to get a good craft knife, one where I will hopefully be somewhat safe using it. Any suggestions for a good one?
Just put this in my favorites, I love House Mouse, this is such a cute card yet with such class!!! LOVE it!!! Thank you for this tutorial, thank you for all I learn from you--as always, I am totally impressed. God has given you GREAT talent, what an artist!!!
