It immediately made me think of my PTI Botanical Silhouettes stamp set. Because the painting is called "Surrounded in Gold", I sprayed my cs with two shades of gold and one of blue shimmery sprays, then stamped and heat embossed the stems in green, trying to mimic the slant of the stems in the inspiration piece. I inked the flowers with orange and marigold pigment ink to get a bit of colour variation, and heat embossed them. I bordered it with gold cs, popped it up on a cream cardbase and added a vertical green sentiment. I finished of with shimmery little green stickers in the centres of the flowers.
IRL, the background is much more shimmery - it was really hard to photograph.

I love the texture on the blossoms, I'm trying to figure out how you did that--really lovely!!! Beautiful background and it makes the vibrant poppies just pop.

Beautiful card, Susan, with that gorgeous bg in colors that complement your bright orange poppies. IRL, the golden sprays must give a wonderful shimmer to your card.
