Masked off a strip in the middle of the card (and a strip for the sentiment). Placed leafy stencil over top and sponged in light green. Removed masked and stamped the sentiment in red.
Die-cut three layers of poinsettia, sponged around all petals with red ink to add depth of colour, and then shaped the petals with my stylus and mat.

Your poinsettia is GORGEOUS! The color you achieved by sponging looks like rich, red velvet and it's beautiful. How perfectly you formed this too! The stenciled background is the perfect backdrop for this!

Wow Loll, my first thought was how cool that stenciling is behind your gorgeous poinsettia and I agree with Nancy that it looks like a very rich red velvet! My next thought was wondering if you cut your stencil on your Silhouette. Was it mad from a cut file that you purchased? It is wonderful! I love the creative way you masked the stencil and that you put your sentiment in the middle. LOVE this!
