For the challenge "For the Birds" CAS314 which Lee posted on the 2nd. I know...late again!
My die club group of friends took me out for a "desert only" get together for my birthday. I made 6 of these small cards all alike except each one had a different edging on the bottom. I used edge punches, SB curved edges and this Paper Smooch edge from the set called "Dots & Dashes" on this one. Half of the cards had this ribbon and the other half had a Crumb Cake 1/4 inch ribbon. The stamp (a cling one) was cut apart so all I had was the "so much" part to use with this very cool Mama Elephant "Thanks". I received some money to buys some dies for my birthday and this is one of the dies I got, as well as the Paper Smooch one. I used IO birds (trimmed a bit) form the birches set). The embossed dotted oval is from SU. I put the SU Crumb Cake card stock behind all of the different edge dies and punches to complete the card. That is what you are seeing behind the row of open dots across the bottom of this card. The ribbon is unknown.(all I had was a yard of it). I made these mostly all in one day (a record of productivity for me). I made the prototype idea on the night before and then added to it as I came up with other idea's the next day when I completed the 6.The half pearls are actually a light tan color and went well with the Crumb Cake.
Thank you so much for stopping by for a look! It is ALWAYS appreciated...

This is your quick thank you card? It's gorgeous Peggy! I love that ribbon and had some ages ago and used up a whole roll of it! That wonderful, neutral color worked with everything. I LOVE the edge punch backed with matching paper as well as the embossed center. This is truly an elegant thank you card!

Peggy, this is so elegant! The neutral colors are so pretty, and the embossed oval in the center looks just beautiful! I rarely think to do that, and I just love the effect. I for one would love to see pictures of the others!

What a gorgeous Thank You card - and you made SIX??? Bless your friends' hearts for the little treat of a dessert lunch! How sweet!
Love how your 'Thanks' rides over the edge of the embossed oval, and the single bird with the 3 pearls gives it an elegant look. That new edge die with the dots looks really neat! I think the ribbon you used is the retired SU caramel gingham - what a perfect fit!!
Now I am bummed that I was not aware of your birthday - well, guess that is why they make "belated" stamps!! Happy Belated Birthday and wishing you a wonderful year ahead!
