This is my card for Kim's VSN challenge ~ [Scavenger Hunt
It took a long time for me to wrap my head around this, but once I had done the thinking, it came together quickly. I started out with a blank ATC which I coloured Direct to Paper with Weathered Wood and Tumbled Glass. I added felt waves and cloud, a punched metal sun and a die-cut bird. There was still some blank space, and even though this sentiment is from a Christmas set, it suited the mood of the card.
I layered the finished ATC onto a distressed kraft mat, and added doodling round the edges.
For the base, I used Bazzill which I embossed with Swiss Dots and sanded. I added mesh, stitching round the edges to hold the mesh down. To finish, I added a starfish stamped on a scrap of DP (saved on colouring time!) and some shells.
1 - kraft mat layer for ATC
2 - foil sun
3 - felt clouds and waves
4 - starfish
5 - embossed and sanded Bazzill
6 - doodled border on ATC
Forty minutes from start to finish - plus a LOT of thinking time.

I love the seashells!! They are perfect for the card!! I like your ATC, too! I haven't made an ATC for a card for a long time. May have to try again! Thanks for sharing!
