I finished this card front in 20 minutes! Usually a card is a long term project for me. I can't take credit for the idea since I purchased the stamp based on a sample card in a delightful store, Violette's, in Lakeland, Florida. All I had to do is sponge a blank piece of cardstock and stamp. Thanks to the Misti I was able to stamp it twice to capture the detail in the branches. I used chunky white embossing powder for snow. Thank you for stopping by.

This might have taken 20 minutes, but the result looks like it took hours. Your bg sponging is so soft and pretty. As soon as I saw it I thought that it looked like I was lying on the grass, looking at the sky through the branches of a tree. The gold matt and snowflakes are the perfect additions.

It DOES look like a photograph! What a spectacular card. Love your new stamp, your fabulous sponged sky and sprinkled snow all framed in that awesome silver Shimmer Sheetz and black. LOVE the Silent Night sentiment because that is exactly what it looks like, snow silently falling on a cold winter night.

Looks just like a wonderful photo, looking up through the trees as the snowflakes were gently falling down! WOW! You captured such a magical moment - peaceful and calm (not like we have been having the last few weeks!) Your sponging of the sky is terrific! Love this one, Nancy!!
