Made the base of this card last week, but it took forever for me to decide how to decorate it! I went with the word celebrate so it could be used for birthday or anniversary.

Love, love this! you did great decorating this, using one of my favorite stamps! ( the pot with the flowers). What a great idea to cut it out and use it on your side step card.

I have never made one of this type of card. As I examine your composition, I realize that I can mix and match stamps to create a theme. Your color combination fits well without being too busy (to my eye). I'll need to check into a tutorial about this style. Your dsp placement shows off the base as well as grounds the card. I forget about stamping directly on dsp. Thanks for the inspiration! Diane

Oh my gosh, Kathy, I love those papers and the use of the words! What a delightful way you embellished the steps of this card. It's SO spring-like! I haven't done a step card in years but yours makes me want to try one again.
