Hello all,
Believe it or not, my bg is a piece of paper that I had on hand to wipe off excess Radiant Pearls from the CD palettes we used in the day! (hahaha, some of you remember I'm sure). I just found a bunch of bg's I did years ago of all different techniques, well I grabbed them out of hiding and put them in my current stash! See, never throw anything away!
I stamped the tulip on kraft paper and colored a bit with Inktense pencils (I left quite a bit kraft). I cut it out and edged it with embossing fluid then gold glitter powder and heat set. I used a stencil and gold paste on the background and sprinkled a bit of gold glitter on part of it just to add more texture (and another media). I stamped the bg with script from Hero Arts then edged the card with a curved border. Then popped up my tulip over it all.
I made a multi loop bow with twine and glued it on.
Finally it is mounted on a kraft card with a straight version on the curved border (if that makes sense).
Thanks for looking!

WOWSERS! What GORGEOUS coloring on this and it's a scrap? Seriously? This is incredible, Robin and absolutely beautiful! The twine bow is the perfect touch, not overwhelming your artwork. WOW, right into favorites! Your gold shines through on this one.
