Since I had ink left, I went ahead and made another panel. I love the Bokeh effect and I've tried several techniques, but I think this one, this week's featured tutorial, is a new favorite. I used retired green reinkers for the technique. I started out be using Washi tape to mask off the edges of the watercolor paper. I then wet the paper thoroughly and then started adding on the 3 green watered down reinkers (10 drops water with 3 drops reinker). Once this was dry, I laid down my circle stencil and used a dauber to add white circles. Once these were dry, I went back over a few of them and used just the dauber to add some darker white circles. Once that was dry, I added a bit more definition to the circles with a white pencil. I partially inked my word stamp using a Glorious Green marker and omitting the balloons, and stamped the sentiment. I added a few sequins and used a Wild Wasabi base.
