This is for Sabrina's TLC to make a pop up card from a former featured tutorial and I combined it with the tea party for this week to do some "monkeying around".
Last week, I spent quite a bit of time growing grass for Harry's Heaven - this week, I was making leaves and coconuts in the jungle - who knew????
Made the pop up diorama card using Sabrina's changed up numbers for a slightly larger card than Julie Davison's tutorial - it is so easy, you HAVE to try it!! Thanks, Sabrina, for encouraging us to try this!!
Diecut all the leaves and sponged through the die for color, then punched out the coconuts and made the top of the card to look like a tree above the monkeys!! These two monkeys have a mutual admiration society between them - Besties of the Monkey Kingdom, but Besties all the same!
Here is the INSIDE OF THE CARD - says "You're my favorite kind! "
This card is going to a teapotter this week - hope whoever gets it, likes it!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a closer look!

Sue, this turned out great! Cute little monkeys - so fun! I like the inside, too, with the leaves around the sentiment, can't wait to see what you'll be cooking up for the next teapot party!

Wow Sue this is brilliant. All those wonderful leaves and your two adorable monkeys you have done a fantastic job on this darling card. What fun this card will bring a fellow teapotter. Thank you for creating a card inspired by my aunt's teapot bought by Grandpa Holmes.

Very cute, love those monkeys. Jude calls them ahho's. He had a Christmas monkey dressed liked Santa. He evidently can't say ho ho ho and it comes out as ahho. (Sounds like he is calling someone a bad name) He loves monkeys.

Oh those little guys put a smile on my face! I love the scene you built around them! The sentiment spilling over to the inside really works terrifically with your diorama technique. Great card to brighten someone's day!
