This is the card I made for the MMTPT343 challenge "Monkeyin' Around". Lisa challenged us to use monkeys on our cards and told us a wonderful true story about a really cool monkey teapot. It's tickle week this week, our cards go to other Teapotters - so fun!
First, let me state that I did NOT color this image. I found it in one of my computer card-making programs, downloaded it, added the sentiment and printed it out. I just love the expression on his face! It was a simple matter to cut a frame and mount it with a matching piece of craft foam. I added some sequins and doodling to finish my card. I think he's so cute!
As always, thanks for looking!

Oh I do love this monkey. He sure brings a smile to me. Thank you for creating a card inspired by the family teapot and our story. Grandpa Holmes would love this card.

ROFLOL - just LOOK at the MUG on this MONKEY!! Could not help but laugh out loud when I saw this one, Jody!! Your sentiment is perfect - similar to my thoughts on a MONDAY morning, as I am sure everyone can agree! You may not have colored him, but your sure did a great job with the doodled frame and strategically placed sequins!! I am heading off to bed with a silly grin on my face, just thinking of this! :-)

The expression is brilliant, Jody! Those sequins look lovely, and the kraft frame is perfect. I know for sure I'd be tickled to get this, I'm sure wherever he goes he'll be very welcome.

First, Jody, thanks for being up front and honest about your image. Not everyone does that...more by "omission". ; ) I appreciate your honesty. Secondly,....haven't most of us felt this way at one time or another??? LOVE LOVE his expression with the sentiment. Made me laugh.....as I'm sure it will the lucky recipient. It's a TERRIFIC CARD!!

What a hoot!! You sure have created a fantastic frame for funny monkey. Everything about this makes me smile Jody. I don't know how you manage to join in challenges and do all the Dirty Dizen cards, you are a woman of substance Miss JodyLynn.
