hello,
this is my card to honor Sue28, this week's Featured Stamper!! This is the card I chose to CASE: MMTPT312 In His Element by sue28 at Splitcoaststampers
Since it is a guy type card, I thought I'd use a wood frame to make it a good card to send to Harry, this week's Teapot person in need of cheer. I knew Sue wouldn't mind if the card honoring her actually went to a good cause instead of just buried in my stash!
The wood grain is a stamp by I.O. and done with dk brown ink on a red/brown CS panel. I tried to color the boat to match. The words are ODBD (they will go inside) and the wonderful image is Penny Black!!
Hope you like it Sue!!!
Thanks for looking!

Excellent! The wood grain background, the burlap and the twine all give this a wonderful masculine feel to it. Fabulous coloring on the image. Love the verse! Very nicely done for a good cause. TFS

Certainly an image to evoke peace, so your verse is very appropriate. The woodgrain, burlap and twine all make for a great masculine feel. You did more than try to match the boat with your background wood - at first I thought you might have pieced it!

We sure did use the same image...it's a good one. (I rarely go back to past challenges) Your coloring is clear and bright and one senses sunshine. Beautifully done, Robin.

Oh, Robin, I really LOVE this and it is the perfect card to send off to Harry!! This is a great fisherman stamp, and coloured so beautifully by you (as always) and a fabulous wood grain stamp, so real looking!! Love the burlap. Thank you, my dear friend, for taking the time to CASE a card of mine this week!!
