This is my card for Misti's spring challenge and it was nearly wrecked twice. The first time is because I used a sentiment that was too big and bold and stamped super black and it just looked wrong. Gesso to the rescue! I just smeared it all around the flower and let it dry. Then I started kind of inking around the tag with a few different inks because gesso. But it started to look dingy so I went back to gesso. This time I somehow smudged the ink on the flower. You can probably see where. I went over it with a few things and decided that it was okay and after all (it was midnight, y'all). I added the twine, found some paper, and put wink of stella in the center. End of long, rambling story. ;)

Glad you hung in there. Your card has turned out nicely.

I love gesso!!!! This is beautiful and don't you just love how we can "rescue" our cards. I usually don't realize something is wrong until I am editing the photograph! Your end result is gorgeous and no one would ever know that this wasn't a masterpiece from the start!
