I started with a kraft panel, and used a brayer and homemade stencil to create some backgrounds with acrylic paint. I used phone book pages for my die cuts (Deer Trio, Leafy Branch), and added some shading with a marker and water-soluble graphite pencil. The snow is acrylic paint, dotted with a small stylus. My card base was embossed with a Darice folder - I rubbed a white ink pad over the raised areas to lightly highlight the wood grain.

Absolutely fabulous Dina! This would certainly fit into Naoko's gallery. Your bg is amazing with the soft colors and the dots of snow. I love the printed branch and deer and I see you've even got a shodow for the deer...wow..what a great card....I might need to give this style a try.
