This is for two current challenges at HLS for February: CAS Embossing and Sketch.
I partially sponged the background of my card front and then placed a Textured Mesh Stencil over top and coated it with glass bead gel. This gel dries clear, leaving little glass beads that sparkle and shine.
I sponged more card stock and die-cut layers of poppies which are shaped and glued for more added dimension. The poppies are popped up over the sponged and stenciled background and framed with a simple white frame with stamped sentiment.

I also have not heard of glass bead gel...How COOL! It makes a gorgeous topping for your stenciled background. I always love the way you sponge your poppy die, gives it such a nice realistic look. Beautifully done card and no wonder your mom LOVED it...so do I!

OMG Loll, I have to put the glass beads gel on my wishlist! I LOVE the pretty glittery effect. Your all white diecut and popped up frame is perfect, since it focuses your eye on your beautifully textured main image. Wow card indeed my friend :-) Hugs, Nancy

THIS IS WONDERFUL!!! First, what drew me in was the combination of your wonderfully colored poppies against that beautiful background. But I couldn't see just how beautiful the background was until I went in for a closer look, and oh my goodness, I was totally stunned at its beauty! I LOVE this kind of look!!! I need to do more investigation into this!!!
I am TOTALLY blown away here, your artistry is beyond amazing, WOW!!!
Into my favorites--OF COURSE!!!
Blessings, and wonderful to see such a talented fellow-Canadian too!!!
