It's my second week as the February hostess over at CCEE Stampers.
This week I set the theme of pearls ~ the Finnish for February is "helmiku", which means "month of the peal". Snow melting on twigs and refreezing as drops has a pearl-like look.
You can take it easy and just use pearls/Liquid Pearls on your card, or you could be adventurous and try out some pearl techniques; pull out that old Pearl-Ex or Perfect Pearls!!
I listed a few of the pearl techniques on the challenge thread and decided to try Luminous pearls which was a new one for me. I used a pearlescent acrylic paint and three colours of Perfect Pearls, a plum, a green and gold. Sentiment from Asian Artistry. Spellbinders heart , Kodomo bird image coloured with Perfect Pearls. Edges scored and doodled.

Beautiful work with the perfect pearls, Sabrina! Sweet image with this spring robin on the cherry blossom branch! The added butterflies are the perfect accent for this wonderful design!

Your pretty card has my heart so ready for spring. Love all the beautiful ways you make use of birds on your cards.

Great job with the Luminous pearls technique. That one is one I am not familiar with but oh it is stunning on your card. I am going to have to check that one out.
