This card is for the sketch challenge this week. I came across some of the pounded flowers papers I did back when we still had flowers out front - the way you do it is to take petals from your flowers, lay them on top pf W/C paper, and squish them in your Big Shot between the plates! The color comes out of the flowers - really JUICY - and transfers to the W/C paper. I let them dry over night. I actually found that if I took the petals apart and laid them in the form of the blossom, they come out actually looking like flowers instead of the way this one came out all marbleized. You will not get the actual color of the petals - it will be somewhat subdued.
After the W/C paper was dried, I layered it up with pieces from some DP, and adhered the layers, and punched the circles and attached pearls to the piece of lace, and a few pearls on the main panel!!
Thanks for stopping to take a look - I really appreciate it!!

What gorgeous paper you created by using that technique! I have a Christmas cactus in bloom that I'm definitely going to try this with! The card is lovely, the pearls and lace are beautiful embellishments to go with your terrific images!

Sue, you worked magic with pounded flowers! How gorgeous that paper turned out! Love your layout on this and what wonderful embellishments including pearls and lace. Love those neutral colors!
Sue this looks beautiful. I love how the flowers make a marbleized. Also all the pretty pearls add so much to it along with your paper going down the side. Great card.
