This is a card for my friend Nina's birthday! It is also a REALLY REALLY late card made for Joan's "Down Under" challenge (TLC519). I was so inspired by the many creative ways people used this challenge that I got this idea in my head. No...this is not it. Somehow when I tried to execute THAT idea...it didn't work. Oh well...I improvised! The Swiss Dot embossed panel came about when I put the original panel down crooked and tried to move it and thoroughly messed up the panel....hmmmmm what to do? I know! Cover it up....The Make a Wish (Penny Black) changed colors so many time it has uh...5 layers! The last layer being an offset pink and green to match my flowers/leaves which are the smallest one from the IO small rolled flower set. The tiny tiny leaves are from my Punch Bunch punch. The swirly flourishes are Marianne Design. The EF behind the main panel is from Embossalicious. And of course the lattice work is Spellbinder. Oh and I used my Rounded Square dies to cut out that panel. (which I used my dimensionals under.) I also used the stickles on the roses and EACH individual Swiss Dot! I couldn't capture the twinkle in the photo...:-(
Thank you so much for coming by to take a peek!

When I saw the precision in this, my jaw hit the floor! The perfectly matched "down under" curves and the perfect fit of the sentiment. Even the sentiment with 5 layers is fabulous! I would have had a wet, gluey mess! The tiny roses and microscopic leaves indicate patience! Wow, this is one, special card and how gorgeous it is!

So elegant! So GORGEOUS! I can't even imagine the patience it took to do this, especially after an 'oops' or two. So glad you kept going and figured out a rescue so you could share it with the rest of us! The touches of color in the flowers and sentiment are just beautiful. Into my favorites!

Absolutely exquisite on design and execution, Peggy. Can't imagine the time and love that you put into this card for your friend, Nina. The white-on-white with the very pastel accents is beautiful as are your various textures. The curving of the opening and the sentiment that matches that curve is extraordinary. Hope you get to see Nina's face when she receives this card.
