The stamping on this card is very simple, I used versamark for the flower (don't forget to use your embossing buddy!!), then heat embossed with clear powder. An emboss resist is acheived by sponging (inking,spritzing, etc...) over the embossed image. For this subtle look just start sponging lightly in a circular motion (don't dab!!) darker in the center and lightening up as you go outward. I use a tissue to clear off any residue from the embossed image, it brightens it up :-D
I love Core'dinations paper too, it comes in all the Stampin'up! color families and when you emboss an image with an embossing folder, like the Framed Tulips above, you can then use the sanding block to take off the top layer and let the "core" show through...don't forget to use your dust buddy to remove the sanding mess :-D
