On the SUO challenge blog today we had to make a shape card........and shape cards make my lips freeze....so I cheated and stamped the Swallowtail Butterfly on the fold of some watercolor card stock and cut out the shape of the butterfly on the fold, and voila! A lazy lady's shape card!! I colored this with our old markers, for layers and layers of color....so in a way I had dessert today too as it's at least 4 layers and I promise you I layered my markers at LEAST four times!!! Does that count?? I ALSO used the exact color markers of the challenge and in the photo it looks more blue but I used Coastal Cabana layered with Bermuda Bay and Old Olive. Promise. Go on over to my blog for a bit of butterfly reflection....but you have to go tomorrow cuz it will post at 5:00 am! here is the link: http://karenbarberstamps.blogspot.com but remember, can't see the butterfly till tomorrow on the blog.....happy Tuesday everyone!!

Oh, My Word, Karen! This butterfly is out of this world! I love all the dots and beautiful layers upon layers of added color to create a bold, vibrant, stunning insect!

OK, dessert for you, because the challenge didn't say 4 or more layers of **WHAT**!!! :-) Your shape card is so spectacular, Karen! I love the way you colored this big, beautiful butterfly!
