My daughter is going to college in ND, so I thought I'd send her a card showing her what she's missing in Washington State, I don't want her to forget us and move away permanently! Every year we visit an otter and her pups while camping in Port Townsend WA, lots of great memories. We get up early in the morning, tip toe to the pier and look for her and her latest brood as they eat breakfast on the dock.
I water colored this sweet otter with SU markers, and mounted on a MFT doily, with the swirl background made with today's technique. Making buttons out of paper makes the card much easier to send in the mail, so I added two tied with a twine bow.

Adorable card! Love your banner stamped with the plaid stamp - it looks like plaid ribbon, the stacked paper buttons, corrugated strip, and especially that sweet image. How I envy you getting up close to the otter and her pups!

My daughter loved getting cards and kept them all when she was away at school. How wonderful to find an image that will bring back cherished shared memories! I love that otter image. You have coloured her so beautifully! Great card and thanks for the story!
