After preparing my Ef with the distress inks, I stamped off twice, using the second stamping for my sentiment. I used a die to make a frame for the sentiment, and then decided I wanted to line the frame with black. That was where the exacto knife came in. I had to cut by hand another frame in black so the window would be smaller than the first in order for the black to show, if at makes sense. This will be this week's encouragement card for our son :-)
Thanks for taking a closer look. I appreciate it !

What a super card for your son.....awesome colors. I don't get along with craft knives....need a lot of practice. You seem to have it nailed.

Love how you did the rainbow stamping with the EF for a bg, Barb. The chevrons are great for a masculine card. Your son surely appreciate the time and thought that you put into each card you send him every week.
you created a really pretty background with this embossing folder. And may I just say wow! On using the exacto knife. I never would have known it wasn't a second die if you hadn't said so.I'm sure your son will really appreciate this thoughtful card.
