I realized today I needed this birthday card for the 12th and it has to be mailed! So my inspiration is from our Featured Stamper Pauline aka lotsofstamps. Her card Circle of Roses inspired me. Thank you Pauline for your inspiration! You have a wonderful gallery. Congratulations on being our Featured Stamper this week!
And I am submitting this for today's Try a New Technique Challenge Embossing Folder Stamping. I did this several times and decided to use one of the results as the last panel under the sentiment. The rest of the card is from scraps, including the punched boarder! I stamped the 90th with stamps from CTMH. (Golden Years). This is also for our Twisted Sister Challenge to make a card with texture. I think the embossed panel and the satin flowers count as texture. Also this is for our All Occasion Card Challenge- to get our cards done that we need each month ahead of time! Well almost! LOL

Sharon, this is a beautiful monochomatic card. I love all the beautiful die cuts and punched border. And I hear that mature ladies like the colour purple!
