Hi all,
I took my inspiration from Mr. Harusaki's landscapes (two different ones but I'll just list one: http://www.harusaki-suisai.com/_src/...90858bbd-2.jpg
I didn't keep to the colors because if you have ever spent much time in Yosemite you know that the sunsets there are magnificent. It was also the home for the Yosemite Indians before white man ever discovered the valley so I did a typical native type border on the matting. You will find patterns like this on stem and dinner wear at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite and other places like that. I used Twinkling H2Os today for my watercoloring. Looking ar the picture of my card I can see a bunch of cutting mistakes! I guess I'm not really very good at cutting my own matting! Hee, hope you'll look past that!
Thanks for looking!

Robin, this is exquisite! I love the colors, the scene, and your native touches. You captured the feel of his water-color on this very nicely. Makes me want to go visit Yosemite! Lovely card. Hugz
