Bold colors with a love theme. Well, bold colors are really hard for me. I usually go for a subtle vintage look. I decided to go with stamps from older sets. I did a LOT of masking. I really like the brushed florals but they are silhouettes so they have been challenging to use. I decided to use acrylic paints and use the silhouttes as guidelines for my painting. I cut the wings of the butterflies so that they would be "outside the box." I sewed cheesecloth behind the image. I added a little heart in the corner. Subtle love...

This is SPECTACULAR MariLynn!!! I love your bright colors!! The flowers and butterflies are magnificent. Super masking job and I love the way you sewed the cheesecloth on. You can really see the work and creativity that goes into your cards.
