I was digging today in a kitchen drawer as part of my decluttering process and found seeds. I always have way too many saved. No. I don't plant them, but save them for cards, and I have lots.
I cut a scrap of paper that looked like sky, stamped a SU stem and a flower from Delight in Life on the paper. The flower helped to tell the seeds where to grow.
The blue flowers I soaked in food coloring and didn't like it as well as I thought I would, so the yellow and red are colored with markers. Because I usually have trouble with things falling off this kind of card I used E6000 glue and am wondering if it EVER stops smelling. I sure do like how this turned out. I hope you do too.

Oh Carol this is so clever!! You are the recycle queen and this challenge is right up your alley. I love your flowers made from seeds..the button centers are great and the washi tape angled at the top is a fun accent. My go to adhesive for hard to glue embellishments is gel medium...nothing ever moves once that stuff is dry (no smell either).

Oh Carol - I LOVE this. It's put a big smile on my face - in an evening when DH had the chain break on his bike and had to get towed home - somewhat eventful. So the smile and happiness this brings is so welcome. The shadowing underneath the seeds is great, too - and you know I love music elements. You rocked this!

Fabulous - you are clever to use seeds, and they look great. Love the shadowing with the stamp underneath, and the tiny buttons. Great card - my go to for gluing is glossy accents - one needs pliers to get something off after using it. tfs

Carol, you are a genius when it comes to using things on a card! This is brilliant! LOVE those flowers and the buttons are so perfect for the centers. Your card has such a wonderful, country charm to it! Fantastic and SO fun!
