Attempting shabby chic take one. The colors for this week's Shining the Light Challenge at ODBD just seem to call for a shabby chic card and though I started with the peachy pink in mind, it ended up being more on the kraft side since my base layer was from kraft paper and cut using the largest die in the Flourished Star Pattern Die set. My focal point is a verse from Scripture Collection 8 that was cut and sponged using SB Standard Ovals and Distress Inks Tattered Rose. I then added a lacy background using ODBD Beautiful Borders. My cluster of flowers is made with several die sets: Fancy Foliage, Ornamental Crosses (my dogwood single blossoms), and Aster Dies (my puffy mums).

Wow, another amazing card!!! Gorgeous ODBD flowers, the 'puffy mums' from the Aster dies and love the little flowers from the Crosses set! The two border dies together is a fabulous idea as well!!
