This is for Joan's fun Technique Lovers Challenge - "The sentiment down under".
I stamped and fussy cut the girl, cut off the tree branch that she normall sits on, then coloured with Distress inks and an aqua pen.....it looked terrible. The cardstock I was using was not my usual smooth white, it seemed to suck up all the inky water.
I started again and didn't use as much water as I usually do. I used a white gel pen to make her pinnie look checkered. Sharpie paint pen for spots. Her hair was done with Copics (don't look too close).
I retrieved the first girl out of the bin and gave her a sex change...quick haircut, bruised head, few stitches, pair of glasses....job done, meet George!
I stamped the wall - cut in half, then adhered it to a black base. I used my white Sharpie paint pen for the sign.
Thank you for looking and have a great week ladies.

Oh, Susie, how FUN this is! Wonderful design, and very clever to turn the she into a he. By the way, her hair looks terrific, and I love how you decorated her outfit! Thanks for the smile, friend!

You make the most creative cards, Susie. I don't think I have ever made a card with a wall on it, but you did such an awesome job I think you will of us doing wall scenes. The black with the bright white writing looks great.

Oh my gosh I haven't seen Gorjuss girls in quite a while and love how you used them! I would have never thought to eliminate the other things in the stamp and how wonderful it works! Love your creativity with this one! And George! What a brilliant idea! How cute they are using the wall you designed! Susie, this one is fantastic in design and execution!

G,day Susie.
Love the card, the white gel pen on her pinnie what a clever idea.
And then your text about giving the stamp image a sex change....just hilarious!

LOVE the "sex change" part! Your work is FABULOUS, Susie....but your descriptions are right up there too! Your wry sense of humor shines through and delights one as much as your clever, innovative and beautifully done cards. This one is a PRIME example. (Lots of smiles and chuckles)
