This is my sample for CC516. Peggy is our hostess and she has chosen a feminine palette with pink pirouette, melon mambo and whisper white. Dessert this week is to use vellum. No dessert for me. There was way too much eating going on at yesterday's super bowl party (lol)!!
With these colors, I immediately thought Valentine. I started my card with the sketch and worked from there. I am using this week's Mojo383 layout.
The card base is pink pirouette. On the next layer, I used dsp from SU's "gingham garden collection. My next panel is embossed with the Darice `layered heart" folder. The sentiment panel is Verve's "hundred hearts" set. I just love this saying from Winnie the Pooh.
To complete my card and the sketch requirements, I die cut some flags in melon mambo and added a die cut heart from Cheery Lynn Designs in pink pirouette. The hearts on the sentiment panel are die cut with an MFT die.
That's my sample for this week. Hope you can play along with us. You may be our next CC fave and have your card featured on our Pinterest Board. We pick our guest designers from our CC faves, so you have to play to win!! See board here
Accessories: Spellbinders Matting basics A & B and nested pennant dies, Cheery Lynn Designs two of hearts die, Darice layered heart background ef, MFT coffee dies (hearts)

What great details you have on your card Mary!! I love the embossing and the hearts are so pretty - especially the largest one. I like the gingham papers and the nice banners too. :>)
