This is my card for the WT516 challenge "Beads" - to use beads on our project.
I don't have a lot of beads, so I was really struggling to come up with an idea for this challenge. Linda (Holstein) rescued me there when she posted her card for this challenge, as it made me remember this die.
I cut the die and traced the negative space onto a sheet of double-sided adhesive. I cut that out, and then cut it to fit behind the dress, adding a small piece behind the headband. I exposed the sticky and attached it to back side of the die cut, placed it face up in a coffee filter and poured the TINY glass beads over it, burnishing with my finger to be sure they were stuck well to the adhesive. Just for good measure I covered it with a piece if liner paper from the adhesive sheet and ran it through the Big Shot. I cut the die two more times and layered all three for dimension. I would probably like this a lot better if I had any other color of beads, LOL!
As always, thanks for looking!

Your card looks positively amazing, Jody - I tried to get a closer look at the card to see where your micro tiny beads were, but couldn't see, however the card just is magical in the flow of her dress and the offset oval die against that background. What a card!!!!!!!

You never fail to amaze me with your original techniques! Each card you post includes a Jody original something and this is one of them! Reading your descriptions is a learning experience. I love how this turned out including the color of the beads! What a lot of work this one was! Love your card!

HOW AWESOME IS THIS??? I am so impressed! You have used the micro beads in such an amazing way. Every time I have used those little beads they have ended up getting spilled and they are like little Mexican jumping beans when you try to clean them up. LOVE the Tattered Lace die cut couple...and you have created a masterpiece with it!

Jody, this is so striking and I like your color choices...have a retro feeling with the DP and the image. You were creative and did the challenge in a marvelous way.
