One day last summer, I had just come back from shopping at a LSS and was also unpacking an SU order. I saw that the paper bag from the LSS matched beautifully with my new package of Smokey Slate CS. So I stuck some cut up pieces in with the package of cardstock. Today I was cleaning up some scraps from my desk before starting on today's sketch challenge. I saw the paper bag scraps and thought, hmmmmm. I ironed the scrap, mounted it onto a piece of black CS and then started laying out the card. I do like how these pieces look together.

Your LSS has VERY classy bags, Kathy!!! AND ...you used it to create a lovely sympathy card. I think gray tones are much more elegant than blacvk...just not as harsh. Love the flower detail that you added.

So pretty, I love using stuff that was not initially meant for a card on a card...I have some of that kind of stuff in my stash too. Super job on this card.

Love the way you have recycled the paper shopping bag. It is simply beautiful. Your little ribbon on the top is perfect. Can't believe how the little flower on the bottom panel matches in perfectly with the background design.
