I LOVED this paper so I just let it be the focus of my card. I matted it with the colors from the card...and used the SU Soft Suede for the card base. I used a SU sentiment. Inside I computer generated the sentiment "You Are Classic". I also distressed the edges of the dp, which you can't see ANY evidence of.... oh well...
What looks like a very simple card actually took me a long time to make. I had trouble with my cutter, so the image kept getting smaller. (so I was also changing the mat sizes). I couldn't find the green I wanted to bring out the green in my paper, and spent quite a long time going through all my papers.
And now it is late, which is why the belated sentiment!
Thanks for taking a look. It is always appreciated!

I don't blame you! With paper this gorgeous it would be a shame to cover it up! The card turned out beautifully!

Your paper has that old vintage AGED look, just so perfect for this classic car. You sure do a wonderful job with coordinating your papers when you make a card - picked up all the faded colors in the car - what a great BD card - one that any man would love to receive!!
My John once said he would trade his new truck in a heartbeat for an old classic one - he really appreciated that kind of thing!

Peggy, you find the most incredible papers and images on Pinterest and this one is exceptional! It's gorgeous and deserves to take center stage. I love that the sentiment feels like part of that image! What awesome, vintage colors and matting.

All of your time and effort paid off handsomely, Peggy! I love how your matting (which in itself is embellishment enough) brings out the richness of the wonderful dp!
