This is my card for MMTPT339. It's Tickle a Teapotter week, and our theme this month is "If You Go Down To The Woods Today...". Challenge translation - create a woodland scene. Since I've rarely been anywhere near woods, It's a good thing Sabrina elaborated a bit. When she mentioned mushrooms, this paper came to mind.
Super simple, the paper did all the work! The colored areas are embossed on the paper, it's really so pretty! I cut a card base and cut all paper layers from the same pad - Recollections Habitat. I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark, embossed with brown ep and cut a label. I cut a duplicate label out of the same brown paper as the mat. I covered the card front, matted the focal layer onto the brown mat and attached it to the card over a like-sized piece of craft foam. There is also a layer of foam between the sentiment layer and the mat which is tilted for more definition. I sprinkled some translucent brown sequins in the grassy area to finish.
As always, thanks for looking!

Wonderful use of pretty paper. And now you know --- a lot of the action in a woods goes on near the forest floor (sometimes when I hike I'm so busy looking down I miss the trees I'm passing.)

Where most of us - me included - thought of trees when Sabrina mentioned "forest and woodlands" for our theme, you took us down to a level of wonder - the things we usually just step on while walking through the woods! Love your take on the challenge, and how you brought that paper to life, cutting layers of the same images to make them stand out!! Mesmerizing!!!

What gorgeous paper and I like how you let it take center stage! As soon as I saw the thumbnail it caught my attention with the embossing and rich colors! This is so perfect for the challenge.
