Sabrina's challenge today was a technique called "white on white". The challenge is to stamp and emboss with white onto white card stock and then color it with your preferred coloring medium. Sabrina suggested doing this in daylight because it is quite hard to see the white embossing on white paper. My craft is in our finished basement so I have no natural light; I did this with the aid of TWO Ott lights and I still had a difficult time! I think this technique is for younger eyes than mine : (
Anyway, it was fun to try something new!
This card is also my submission for the USEIT challenge; my Chicory stamp has been on my shelves for over a year and today is the first time it has seen ink.

Had to smile, Claudia, I also craft in a basement with no outside light....so I commiserate completely! Your card turned out beautifully and love the soft look of your chickory blossoms. A lovely card.

I think chicory is one of our most beautiful roadside wildflowers! This image is gorgeous and works really well with that WOW technique. Love the colours you have used. Beautiful work!

Claudia, this really is so pretty in the soft colors. We can all relate about light. My new craft room has six cam lights in it. I've been teased by my neighbors that my room just glows at night. Back to your pretty card...I like the dk border on the middle strip it really makes the card pop. tfs

Such beautiful soft colours you used Claudia, wonderful. My friend bought me a Beam N Read for Christmas and I love it. I craft beside a window, but still need extra light and this does the job - saves these old eyes!

So lovely seeing so many florals in the gallery today. I am so ready for spring and seeing nature's pretty offerings along our roadsides. Your design paper looks so perfect with your flowers.
