I made this 5x7 card for my sister and her husband for their 8th anniversary. I had just received a couple sets of Spectrum Noir pens and I was anxious to try them out on this pretty rose image. For the white panel, I traced around the outside of the largest SB Floral Oval die and cut it out by hand. When I completed this card and went to take a picture of it, I realized I had put the card top onto the base backwards so the card opens on the left (sigh). I guess 20 years of stamping cannot prevent mistakes - sadly. I sent the card to my sister with a note explaining what I had done because I did not have time to make another card. Thankfully, she understood.

This card just steps back into the vintage era. It is so beautiful - and I love the lace on the bottom between the layers. Love the pearls and the deep red rose too.

This is such a beautiful card. And I am sure it will become a keepsake. (in spite of the fact, it did not turn out the way your planned it to...
You are not alone! I have done the same thing. It such an easy thing to do.
A neighbor made my hubby a birthday card (His card was a funny card!) so he thought she had done it on purpose. I think to this day it's one of his favorite cards.
