The inspiration for today is Angela Maine's site
"from the tool shed", known to most on SCS as Arizona Maine. I have always admired her work and in going through her site what I love most was her use of colour and her use of texture, which can be difficult. I picked this card from Angela's blog:
I changed it by adding a burlap background done with embossing paste tinted with sable reinker and sponged with Wild Honey. I embossed the egg and sponged it with Old Paper and Wild Honey and attached on foam dots. Added the grass and the Bunny which I sponged with white ink around the edges, also on foam dots. (I have a thing for pink bunnies) Attached some punched flowers, pearls and the Easter greeting bordered with the pink.
Dies/EF used: Tim Holtz Burlap Stencil; Spellbinders
Nested Eggs; Impression Obsession Grass and Chocolate Bunny; Fiskars Flower Punch; Taylored Expressions April Script; Sizzix Fleur Tile EF; Tim Holtz Burlap Stencil.
A beautiful and fun inspiration site.

Kia darling, your take on my card is so fresh and bright and absolutely wonderful. I always love your fun and fabulous cards because they evoke happiness. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for being inspired. Your work is a hugely inspirating as well!
Oh a pink bunny! I love soft furry little bunnies. I like the bg you created and putting the bunny in front of the egg makes for such a pretty Easter card.
