Today Vicki gave us some challenging colors, at least they were to me. I could not wrap my head around any idea for a card, so I created another encouragement card for my son. Today's colors were pacific point, marina mist, and crisp cantaloupe.
The chevron paper I found on line as a free digi. I thought it fit today's colors perfectly.
The sentiment stamp from MFT I have had for at least 5 months and finally inked it up today :-)
Thanks so much for taking a closer look. I appreciate it :-)

Perfect card for your son with the book/album-like feeling to the face of your card, Barb. Clever use of baker's twine and eyelets for a distinctive look.

I love the design of this card. Thanks for showing me a brand new way of using eyelets and twine. the sentiment is interesting and the banner looks great against the chevron patterned paper.

I love the sentiment you used on this card. The geometric shapes work great for a masculine card. I agree with Sallie, it does have a book feel to it with the binding and it works great to give it a more masculine feel.

Yes, that is definitely a good sentiment for encouragement. We all need that once in a while. The design and colors worked perfectly today even if you did struggle.
