Jenn gave us a fun triple stamping technique challenge. I followed Joans great tutorial, the only change was to the length of the card.
This is usually a very serious looking lady, but dress her in black, give her hair as dark as night, with sunglasses to match, all that was needed was a string of pearls to completely change her look.
I used a dauber and black soot to gently give a hint of colour to her dress. I scrubbed the same dauber in her hair, then gave it a few extra flicks with an Inktense pencil. I coloured in her glasses with a black copic marker.
The sentiment is from a different Unity stamp set. Everytime I use liquid pearls I have to remind myself not to touch it .....the little smudge near her neck doesn't look so bad in real life.
Thank you for looking.

This lady sure LOOKS the part of a Diva QUEEN!! The absence of all color but the black of her dress, hair, and sunglasses, and white pearl earrings and necklace is so striking against the kraft paper!! Guess I need to look closer at Unity - I only have the "cute" girls and kids stamps!! With a little imagination, it reminds me of Jacqueline Kennedy!
Great job on this card, Susie!!

This is fantastic! I love the image and the sentiment! I wanted to try a different size card but since I had never sone this technique, I decided to go with the sizes the tutorial said for the first try! I have an image I wanted to try for a different size so maybe I'll go back and try it later! Thanks for showing me that it can be done!
