Kathleen is challenging us to use our resolutions as inspiration for this week's CAS challenge.
One of my (I have several) crafty goals/resolutions is to create more Christmas/Winter cards throughout the year than I did last year. So here's my first Christmas card of 2015, I need four more before February.
To create my background I used the Wrinkle Free Distress technique with TH Distress inks, Broken China and Seedless Preserves.
When staging my card I had to laugh. I have a 12x12 piece of DP that looks just like my background. I guess I could have saved a little work and just cut the DP for the background, but what's the fun in that, right?
Thank you to Brenda for the wonderful tree RAK!
I am adding this to January's Fan Club Christmas challenge found HERE. For January we can choose a past challenge so I decided to choose the first one, "Jan 2012" to use something new. The die cut was my NEW.

Gorgeous background, Angie and love that die cut! I've never seen that one before! Your paper does look exactly like your background! I also love the way you popped up that image! What a beautiful card!
I've been eyeing this die and now I know I "need" it! This is fabulous. The purple background is amazing behind the trees, reminds me of an August sunset. This is just stunning, Angela!

Nice card, Angie! Like your inky bkgrd. The tree die is terrific and is on my wish list. Good luck in keeping up with your holiday card goal. It's one of mine, too. So far I have one.
