For today's IC476 MOD Weddings challenge. Since I just used the last wedding card from my stash, I made time to play along even though I am really meant to be catching up on all the housework from when I was sick.
I used the bottom tier of THIS CAKE for my inspiration. I thought that some pergamano-style flowers would pick up on those delicate iced flowers.
Stamped the flowers on vellum cardstock and embossed with white EP. From behind I used a very fine stylus to score the lines. Actually, I think they were sold as tools for nail art!
The base is actually dry embossed, but you don't really see that. The main layer was stamped with Swirl Lace and embossed in white, then sponged very lightly with Milled Lavender. Then I stamped and embossed the sentiment in silver. Lace borders added to each edge, and then I just arranged my flowers along the top.
And now, back to the housework!

Pretty soon I will just have a "fabulous Sabrina" board on pinterest. The design and execution of this card is spot on. The vellum flowers are gorgeous and you added the perfect touches to finish off the card. It looks like delicious vanilla cream frosting.
