I am so sorry for the angle of the photo, it was late night and I was trying to get the scorelines with gel pen to show up. Now, I am not so sure that was a good idea, as I can see that I was not very straight.
I was playing around with the alcohol marker marbling technique using different color markers and was intrigued with the results. I had an idea to try to get an Italian marble look using 3 shades of brown and browsed Pinterest for marble tile decor and found this, *http://www.houzz.com/photos/1258033/...bathroom-tampa. I scored and then used a white gel pen in the score lines to look like grout lines. I stamped the Eiffel tower in rusty hinge, the french script and amour in vintage photo. I punched small petals from some scraps of glossy paper that had red alcohol ink. I made this for the MIX 103 Repeat, and WT514 Speaking Foreign challenges. Thank you for taking a peek.

Wow, super job on the faux tile work. I have not tried that technique. I think I might need to try it as it is very beautiful on your card. I love the added flower petals on your card - very pretty!

This is so cool. I've never seen marble with perfectly straight lines, so that just makes it even more realistic. The rose petals are a stroke of genius! Thanks so much for playing the mix challenge!
